Lots of attractive ripe blue and black berry fruit, some mocha, liquorice and lavender aromatics along with a black currant pastel sweetness. I’m the mouth it’s very plush with soft tannin, low acidity, little hot on the finish but some very pleasurable ripe blueberry, plum and dark chocolate, kirsch notes on the finish. Plush stuff! — 20 days ago
Absolutely love these White Burgundies from Saint Romain! Butter, lime, and vegetable elements on the nose. An absolute lovely texture is this wine’s highlight! Camomile and butter on the palate, with a nice balance of acidity and sweetness. Medium finish. Very good QPR @ £24. — 7 days ago
Very typical Syrah aromatics, flowers with violets in particular, pepper and dark fruit. The wine is so good and approachable now despite it’s youth, medium bodied plus, fruity and juicy with nice strong tannins that have a great silky texture.
89-90 — 2 days ago
I always love drinking this. A crazy sick value, an early drinker, consistent. Year in year out.
Nose is apricot skin. Almost a kiss of old Rieslingy aromatics. Super integrated. Lovely.
Palate is apricot and a kiss of honey. Pleasantly but not over the top rich. That’s the style. Juicy. Great acidic balance.

Deep and concentrated and with tannins not yet fully resolved. Although having shed lots of its fruit, it was clear to still have a plenty of life left and a lot to offer. Cigar ash, espresso, cedar, scorched earth and black currants. The finish was quite long and generous with grip and very good intensity. — 3 days ago
