One of the first Italian Prosecco Rosé’s on the market in Australia 🍾
Mr. Spittoon and I loved it! It’s a gorgeous pearly-peach colour in the glass with an elegant perfume of citrus, stonefruit and raspberries & cream. In the mouth it’s super smooth and absolutely moreish. I could easily drink this Prosecco Rosé at any time of the day. Being fairly light in alcohol (11.5%), it would make a fantastic breakfast or brunch bubbly in my opinion.
I will definitely be drinking this one again!
A big thank you to BABO for sending this sample my way! I was under no obligation to post about it and all opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! — 20 days ago
Not a Cabernet-Syrah blend (where does Delectable get this stuff?). A classic Rhône varietal Provençal blend led by Carignan. Deep, star bright salmon pink. Abundant nose of Montmorency cherry, and strawberry. Juicy, medium light palate echoes the nose adding a hint of anise and earth. Lingering finish for a rosé. Remarkably complex rosé from the creator of the prevailing Provence style, Régine Sumiere. Enjoy as a sipper or with a wide range of foods, especially the classic salade Niçoise. Drink now. — 10 days ago
Transparent ruby magenta. Piquant, tamarind and exotically red fruited nose with a hint of white pepper and hot road tar. Red florals and red candy, then a crunchy-chewy bit of saltwater taffy or sweet red starburst candy on the palate. Such a salty, juicy and delicious finish. Really stylistically unique and totally delicious. — 3 days ago
No new notes, we adore this wine, drinking it by the case; it really sings when 3-4Y past vintage.
Nose has cherry skin, mashed strawberry and green melon.
Palate has fresh cut strawberry, orange zest and a chalky minerality. Medium length finish, great acid levels, touch of sweetness. $14.40!
A fun wine for an almost 80°F day in the Berkshires, atypical for early April. — 18 hours ago
