Nice high quality langhe Nebbiolo (actually bottled as a vino rosso). Open for 6 hours, 3 just cork pop, 3 decanted. The air certainly helped. Dusty strawberry on the nose. Some carry through of that great fruit on the palate by hour 6. Finish is maybe slightly too muddled still. Acid decent on the finish but not quite the refreshing lifting sort. — 6 months ago
Classic Barolo via the stellar 2010 vintage (now +15 yrs). Medium / pale garnet and pours to a transparent center. Pop-and-pour to taste, with a much needed 2-hour decant to follow. Bone dry, high tannin and medium+ acidity, just like I like it. Tons of dark red fruit; this is drinking exceptionally well now, but would certainly benefit from 10-15+ more years in the cellar as the nose continues to develop. The finish is long / strong and heavily structured; simply a gorgeous expression of the Rocche dell’Annunziata Riserva! — a month ago

2017 vintage. Opened and decanted. Small amount of sed. Tasted after 30 mins and 1.5 hrs. Slightly sweet but lean. Grip came-a-callin on the back end. Light-medium bod with precocious balance. Likely best in 5-6 years but can tackle now without getting absolutely Barolo trucked. 11.28.24. — 2 months ago
Medium ruby garnet , quite narrow terracotta rim . Quite aromatic , sous bois , dried rose , some spice , truffle . On the palate this is lean in style , with some dried rose , red fruits , liquorice and mint . Quite dry , gritty tannin , balanced acidity . Medium length , liquorice, dried rose finish . Drinking well now and over the next 5-8 years . — 2 months ago
Light reddish in color with light intensity.
Really pretty nose, with nice elegance.
Light to medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.
Showing raspberries, cherries, red currants, light wood, spices, wild flowers, chocolates and tobacco.
Medium plus on the finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very tasty Barbaresco with some nice age to it. Elegant and rich. Complex with good structure.
This 8 year old Barbaresco is still young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 15 to 20 years. I had the 1998 not too long ago and it was so much better.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged for 5 years in Oak and Concrete tanks.
14% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Medium garnet , wide light garnet rim. Touch volatile at first , high toned summer fruits , but with more time this becomes more focused with porcini, cedar , aromatic black tea , orange rind . On the palate this is really still very fruit driven , with lots of summer fruits , strawberry , blackberry , spiced dark cherries, beef extract , liquorice and dried rose . Balanced acidity and still quite present gritty tannin . This is still showing quite young and fruit driven , enjoyable and really good now , will no doubt have a long life ahead , from now and over the next 10 - 15 years . — 3 days ago
