Another bottle of this outstanding Langhe Nebbiolo. What a nose. Chestnuts, cherries, spice and so classic. Aromatic like nothing else. Smells like elite stuff. Nutty, deep and enveloping aromas. Palate is ripe and juicy but starts off a little bitter but goes away with aeration. Dazzlingly pure and structured. Amazingly fresh and energetic. I’ll be back once this aerates. Long and stunning finish.

Feb 18th, 2021Our new superstar. This is just incredibly great. Nose is all the classics. Tar, leather, old bookcase, some bruised mid season cherries, old book pages, Cuban tobacco. Mint, menthol, so so aromatic. It just takes over your nose. Palate is fresh fresh fresh. So clean, bursting with just the most incredible minerality. There’s some fruit but not much and that’s ok by me. The mouthfeel is so silky and textured. Just incredible. A hint of rustic and some silky yet substantial tannins. Amazingly long finish.
After 2-3 hours this is crazy. Amazing depth of fruit and concentration. So complex. Just insane.

The palate is a marvel. Beats the sh*t out of sooooo many Barolo and Barbaresco at much higher price points. Omg the earthy sweetness on this is insanely magical. Perfect balance and elite elite finesse. Insane inner mouth aromas. What velvety texture and insane juiciness. Perfect fruit/tannin delivery balance. Just so so incredibly epic. This estate is magic.

A very nice langhe nebbiolo with a good bit of age. Somewhat stewed / secondary which was a bit surprising. But excellent fruit and cherry with beautiful acid and a nice long finish with good depth and length. Excellent pairing with a beef Bourguignon. Decanted 3 hours.
