Back in Mexico (Puerto Vallarta this time) and went to Costco for our wines. Pleasant but nothing to get excited about. Under $20. — 5 years ago

Good all around I like to cook with this rum — 7 years ago
Recommend by Nina at Cork & Bottle, Puerto Vallarta. Easy green pepper nose The wine is just as easy drinking of a red blend as there could be. She was talking up the Mexican wine quality and why wouldn’t she? This is my first go at a the country’s stuff. She says most of the stuff these guys make isn’t all that good but this is an exception. Supposedly the are a large producer, doing a lot of things with varying degrees of success. Well I like this one and you can bet I’m going to see Nina for some more recommendations for Mexican wine. $3,600 pesos paired with 9.20.90. — 8 years ago

I could smell this for days. Grapefruit, lemon peel, juniper, peach, sea water, grass. It keeps evolving. Palate is clean with just enough body to make it interesting but not heavy. This got better with time in the bottle. Outstanding! — 4 years ago
Looks like a bourbon. Aromas of walnuts, balsamic, and caramelization. Tasty and Sweet. An excellent option for a dessert wine. Kind of like a pecan liquor without the high alcohol content. — 6 years ago
We had the Reserve 2015 on 3/17/19. Was very good. Will look for this vintage again. — 7 years ago
