This was a gift from a close friend who worked for Silver Oak as a garden manager until they eliminated that part of their business. Beautiful color in the glass. Ruby with a hint of rust on the edge. Aroma is complex with berries and flint. Also just a hint of pine needles. Christmas trees. Flavors are full and fine. This is BIG BOY wine. Delicious. — 6 months ago
Almost no breathing required. Very light on the palette and refreshing. — 4 years ago
An easy everyday Bordeaux as it’s affordable. Very fruit forward with spice but finish is lacking. — 6 years ago
Almost a 91. But a bit short. Peaches and dried nuts. A little on the viscous side and to be honest with you I really didn't know what to expect. Leaner towards the finish. If I saw this on a discount for $40, I'd buy a couple of bottles. Rearding longevity, I just don't think this one is getting any better in the bottle, so might as well drink it now. — 7 years ago
Bright, nice tannns and finish, earthy, luscious mouthfeel. Curious how it might develop. — 8 years ago
The 2010 Mouton is one of the most delicious and extraordinary wines I've ever tasted. It is utterly beguiling in its intensity and complexity. Sipping a glass will reveal more and more layers over time. It was a little difficult to wrap my head around it initially. Everything is in perfect balance. Purely exquisite. (Interestingly, the label is by Jeff Koons whose Balloon Dog (Orange) just had its record beaten by Hockney (2014 vintage Mouton)'s Pool as the most expensive artwork by a leaving artist.) — 8 years ago
Only made for the U.K. market. Great wine with perfectly integrated oak. Can we please have this stateside?!? — 3 months ago

A very nice wine after 12 years in the bottle. Still lots of fruit, not over extracted, dark cherry, cassis, leather, tobacco. Agreed, it is more similar to a French style wine. — 6 years ago
Some secondary notes on the nose with soft lime and rock pool minerals. Very settled, poised and balanced. Classy and mature. — 8 years ago
Pale salmon color. Tart strawberries and a quick finish. And a 100% PLASTIC recyclable bottle. Enjoyable! — 4 months ago
Very smooth welcome addition to our 2025 Christmas party! What a wonderful gift that all enjoyed. Very smooth. Excellent wine.! thank you Paul. — 6 months ago
Lighter tannins, and softer. But boy does it pack a nose! Dark cherries, figs, leather and wood. Nice long fruity finish. — 4 years ago
High at 16% natural taste Anita loved it — 5 years ago
White flower and damp mossy rocks. A little bit of the inside of a pool house. So long and endearing, it’s like hugging a long lost friend for the first time since quarantine (not that I’ve done that, please still social distance). Excited to see where my other bottles go — 6 years ago
I picked up this Magnum of Palmer for £200 recently 😱 from a shop closing down RRP £430+ so I was a happy boy 😊 Not as rich in depth as top vintages but a beautiful elegant Margaux nevertheless 😉
