05 showed supple balck fruit complimented with leather, roasted herbs and pleasant earthiness. Tannins had mellowed to a soft, polished feel. Lovelely

Plum colored, this side-by-side is a good reason to drink this wine in a 10 year window. Cassis, currant, plum, and smoke on the nose carry through to the palate. The fruit is bright and the med weight tannins are nicely integrated. There is just a slight note of brett - compared to the '00 brett monster. Thus, I would recommend consuming over the next 2-3 years.

Tannins are starting to tame a touch, dark currant flavor, classic.

Tasty, but too early to drink now. Will get better, but not to sure how much better it will get with cellaring above what it is today. Happy enough but value proposition perhaps a little out of balance

30 minutes of air in the bottle. Dark purple color. Nose of black cherry, meats, and amaretto. Nice body, not too powerful but excellent structure. Finish is long but mildly tart. High quality in my book!

My first turns two and we decided to have a little pre-party this weekend. This was fantastic! Showing great balance, beautiful fruit profile, and classic leather notes. Once it was open for a while, fresh flowers showed themselves. At the price ~$90 I'm looking for more to drink now.

Classsic Bordeaux. Cedarbox dark fruit. Dry dusty. Ready to drink. I used to love bordeaux now i think they are great wines for steak and may be lamb but over all they are not that interesting. They lost their sense of place.
