Phillipe Melkas 1st vintage (i think?) of this st emillion grand cru classe. Earthy funky had some power to it. No cab sav in this one but but drinks like its there. Intense blackberry, dusty leather and scorched earth. At 7 years old this was still young and tannic as double hockey sticks. Fun to drink but sorta wish id waited another 7 years — 6 years ago

Didnt know anything about this bottle when i opened it, what a nice suprise though! Sweaty earthy funk over maraschino cherry and tart cranberry. Im not typically a gamay lover, but this is a must have for those tuesday night allstars. — 6 years ago
