Phillipe Melkas 1st vintage (i think?) of this st emillion grand cru classe. Earthy funky had some power to it. No cab sav in this one but but drinks like its there. Intense blackberry, dusty leather and scorched earth. At 7 years old this was still young and tannic as double hockey sticks. Fun to drink but sorta wish id waited another 7 years

Assumed this might be too young, but actually drank well out of the gate. 67% Merlot, 33% Cab Franc.
