By far my favorite of all the burgundies tasted yesterday. Very approachable, structured, fruit forward, medium bodied, with elegance and a smooth finish. Barnyard funk/ earth on the nose with red and dark cherries, rose petals, pomegranate, spices, oak, and vanilla. — 9 days ago
2017 Koos Family Vineyards from Sonoma Coast. Fantastic Pinot Noir and one of my wife's favorites! Mouthful of fresh berries, cherries, strong notes of vanilla, and baking spices. Light bodied but very concentrated, velvety, and elegant in style. Greatly structured and well balanced. — 4 days ago
Took a bottle home following the tasting. One of my favorite regions of Burgundy. Elegant in structure, fruit forward, very approachable with mild tannins, notes of cherry, tart raspberry, pomegranate, mild spices, light oak, and earth.
What is your favorite Vosne-Romanee and producer? I'm interested to try more! — 9 days ago
