Time to WINE down!
Plum, blackberry, currant, raspberries, cherries, spice, licorice, and graphite. Full bodied and very fruit forward with red and black fruit notes. Very earthy and herbaceous on the nose. Not my favorite bottle of Chateauneuf, but after 5 more years or so, this 2015 bottle will show much better. Definitely needs a good decanting prior to consuming. — 11 days ago
Gosh.... Lail Vineyards has to be one of my top favorite wineries. .. Melka does an outstanding job! The beautiful nose and bouquet of the wine is second to none. Very elegant and smooth with a lot of fruit forward notes. This $ 80 wine can hold its own on many $200+ wines I have had. While wine ratings serve as a guide, this is by far one of my favorites. Job well done Lail Vineyards! 2015 is excellent! !!!!! — a month ago
Delicious wine at an exceptional value - little did I know that this wine is practically the "little brother" of Chateauneuf du Pape! Long finishing notes of fresh bing cherries, raspberry, and spice. Beautiful aromatics of sweet red fruit, herbs, rock, and blackberries. — 11 days ago
Beautiful deep puple color and aromatics of ripe red/black fruit, currant, and fresh wildflowers. Tasting notes of mocha/chocolate, cassis, tobacco, vanilla, volcanic rock, and gripping tannins upon opening. It really opened up after 30 mins of being in the glass. Excellent showing of Spring Mountain fruit from Barnett Vineyards with a maximum of 5 barrels produced. Love boutique wines from Napa Valley. — 2 months ago
