Tasted blind. Red scarlet mixed in with dark tawny color. Bright fruit meets you from the start. This is still very young, chewy and has some strong tannins. This is evolving at a glacial place. Probably will be a wine for my kids to enjoy. 94 but will surely score higher down the road.

This bottle was perfect. Single owner. Big Cabernet with all the edges softened. Dense core to the fruit. No significant signs of fading. Best bottle I've had of this in recent memory.

Funky at first then blossomed jnto a bouquet of dried flowers, tense red fruit, umami- liciousness and wet tobacco. From a magnum. Boom.

1982 2nd growth bordeaux-cigar cedar, leather, dusty gravel, cinnamon, clove, the fruit is dark, firm tannin, wine is in complete balance with its fruit, acid and alcohol. I love when this happens.
