There’s 2015 white burg and there’s 2015 white burg. This is the latter. Undoubtedly this family made some of the very best whites in the warm 2015 vintage, managing to capture a perfect blend of richness, fruit density and racy acids. 2015 Genevrières is stunning tonight, showing all of the above with the elegance of the Genevrières site on full display, with immense depth and captivating aromatics. Its struck match-lemon cream pie bouquet makes the glass hard to put down. Textbook Meursault and a tremendous rendition in 2015. — 6 hours ago

The one Burgundy in my lineup of 6 Chardonnays. Grapefruit/Citrus, some flint - not as smoky and sulphidic as the Giaconda. I thought some tasters might have thought the Giaconda was the white Burgundy (all tasted blind). 35 year old vines. Quite fine. — 2 months ago

Thanks Andrew. Australian Chardonnay has been steadily improving for some years now and these are some of the best. A noteable omission was the Cullen Kevin John where I didn’t have a 2015. I do however have a 2007 which is stunning. Saving for 2027 when it is 20 years old.
