Chianti Pinot noir baby delicious — a month ago
No notes but to emphasize the obvious: boy, this goes Zelig with air. Starts off Beaujolais like, slightly unripe blackberries, crunchy cranberries & shortish finish ( like Dolcetto!) but ends (& would keep going!) as absurdly satisfying, elegant even with a very earthy palate of wild berries & pitch perfect snap. Yum. — 6 months ago
Post Soldier’s Wish wine. Really smooth cab. Wish it was with a steak. — 10 days ago
Deep Ruby color with berry fruit, fragrant spice and earthy cedar notes. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry, plum, leather and cacao with notes of floral spice. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, tobacco and cedar wrapped in an earthy herb mineral spice character. Drinking well. — 4 months ago
2010 vintage. Excellent vintage. Very smooth no aftertaste. One of the best Brunello’s I’ve ever had. — 9 months ago

The 2019 Rosso di Montalcino is dreamy, wafting up with dusty rose, crushed cherries and sage. This flows across the palate with ease, energetic and lifted with a solid core of ripe wild berry fruits that slowly drench the palate in youthful tension. A coating of fine-grained tannins remains offset by a bump of residual acidity, tapering off spicy and long. This is maturing beautifully in bottle. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024)

On a night of historical importance I bought his wine at vino volo DTW. I enjoyed its elder sibling a few weeks back. Herbal and very enjoyable at the beach. — 12 days ago
