The palette opens with lovely round dark blackberry and ripe currents contrasted with balanced leathery tannins. The finish dries out with an earthy, grassy finish. Wonderful with a hearty beef dish. Light on the nose (prunes, minerality) with a big mouthfeel from strong tannins and rich cherry notes. Definitely needs an hour or so open before you drink it but is delightful with food that matches its strength. // Naso leggero (prugne, mineralità) con una grande sensazione in bocca. Tannini forti e note ricche di ciliegia. Deve essere aperto un'ora prima di berlo! Questo vino merita una cena abbastanza grande da contrastarlo. — 12 days ago
