Another Wednesday Wine Committee in the books. Great hosting by @Bill Makens . 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert wine all served blind.
Had no clue this sparkler existed. I knew right away this couldn’t be French or American...zero yeast and hardly any of those bruised fruit notes. This was super thin showing faint key limes, wet rock, and honeysuckle. Floral. I called this young vintage Cava. Don’t think these are meant to be aged.

Really interesting when it got towards room temperature. This interesting mix of cream and tabgerine notes that was quite unlike most champagne I have had. Worth buying once definitely but a repeat buyer idk. The finish early on was a little lacking to me? When it was cold it didn’t taste like anything great. Let it warm a bit!
