Candy red strawberries, fresh cut grass amd raspberries, some tannins hanging in there, elegant pass with a dry red fruit end. Love the ahit, excuse my French — a month ago
Of all the comrades that e'er I had
They're sorry for my going away
And all the sweethearts that e'er I had
They'd wish me one more day to stay
But since it fell into my lot
That I should go and you should not
I'll gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all
Fill to me the parting glass
And drink a health whate'er befalls
Then gently rise and softly call
Good night and joy be to you all
Week, months, years will pass. But I will miss you every single day 💙 — 16 days ago
The wine is very dark, so inky that light does not pass through it. The nose is fresh, riddled with black and blue berries, clove, cinnamon and cedar. On the palate, the rich fruit is out front with a savory backbeat trailing behind. The tannins are firm, while the finish is long and extremely tasty. — 2 months ago
Musky red currants, underbrush and crushed ashen stone form a dark and inviting bouquet as the 2018 Etna Rosso Fragore opens in the glass. This is pure and lifted in style, with vivid wild berry fruits and hints of tangerine energized by bright acidity. The palate is left drenched in primary concentration, as bitter hints of licorice and balsamic spice slowly fade. This is a total success for a difficult vintage. The Fragore hails from the Montelaguardia Contrada on the north side of Etna. It’s refined in second- and third-pass barriques for 16 months. (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2022)

Holy mother of god delicious. Presence that dominates with high-wire balance. Will be around long after we all pass. — 16 days ago
