This was worth the 5+ years I waited and invested in this rappahannock co (?) family wine. Really sang herbal harmony with wifey’s perfect Wooloomooloo BeefStew Roast. Tannins have tempered at 7yrs+ to let the sweet red fruit sing a few solo lines. — 2 days ago
This winery was sold and rebranded to Immortal Estate. This was $55 and then increased (to 75 - 100). Amazing wine at $55 but loses its value around the $70 or so price range.
Silky smooth lush dark fruit, cocoa, and cigar flavors. Drinking very well now right.
The new winery I boycott on the outrageous price increases but these are very good at the right price point. — 14 days ago
Bought at The Butchery in Newport Beach. Delicious. Peppery, earthy Cabernet. Def buy again if findable. — 4 days ago
Pop and pour. A dark reddish/purple. On the nose: barn yard funky tart cherry, forest floor and spice. Taste: raspberry, bright acidity, minerals, dried spice, little blue fruit on the end with some grippy tannins and a medium finish.
Poe wines - California cool climate restrained, fresh wines....good price...small batch pinots inspired by the winemakers travels in Burgundy. No Cali fruit bomb here. — 21 days ago
