My ‘Mercian wine for a happy 4th! And these exploded! The cab was very good. Initial nose was big, but the mid palate was thin, even watery. Finish brought it back. Threw it in a decanter and 6 hours later it came together with black currants, chocolate, and just enough oak to backbone without ruining it. Meanwhile we had the ridge Syrah behind it which is my happy place.

Classic cab. Delicious on the nose, mellow tannins but still well structured. Layers of cassis and red fruit. Nice acidity to balance. Long finish. I love this wine. I decanted, but this wine jumps right out of the bottle. Occasion: Major deal closed in the Covid19 Testing Space.

Young. Strong tannins. Evolved throughout the tasting, but will need some time in the bottle to blossom into what appears to be a well structured Bordeaux blend.

Excellent cab. Nicely aged but could go more with no problem. Full bodied with light oak tones and a delectable richness in flavor. One of my favorites.

Wonderful wine. In a great place with a 2+ hour decant and slight chill. The Bordeaux style really comes through here, but with a vibrancy and freshness to the fruit that is unique. Perfect with lamb chops. Delicious.

Elegant, classy, fine... not an obnoxious fruit bomb at all (although unmistakably Californian). First impression was sun-dried flowers, cedar and sweetness but after drinking, it was a rounded mix of licorice, blackberries and chocolate custard. Tannins are chewy - you just want to keep drinking it.

Perfect blend, cab heavy, for prime rib.

Bad photo, good wine. Dusty tannins, deep and multi-layered. A tiny bit vegetal at first with tart cherry notes, but time in glass allowed the deep blue fruits and cassis to come out. Paired well with a prime ribeye. Thanks for the restaurant recommendation @Bill Bender !!
