Still quite dark purple-red color, nose is quite closed, some mineral, iodine and black pepper aromas, red and black fruits which taste quite primary and youthful, great acid balance, structure shows in the long, lingering finish, I’d guess 10-15 more years of further aging on this to maturity, but awfully great tonight!! — 10 days ago

This wine had excellent dark fruit and tannins that maintain some grip and structure. You can tell this is mountain fruit.

Drank over 3 nights with argon preservation in the fridge.

Paired very well with manchego and also with chili.

Blend of 96% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, deep Ruby with rich aromas of dark ripe fruit and herb spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum with tobacco, cacao and cedar. Fine firm tannins, long finish ending with balanced mineral wrapped in cacao, tobacco and oak. A solid Merlot. — 3 months ago
