This is the real deal. Deep deep fruit, black cherries and blackberries and plums BUT totally lifted too with some floral mystery- violets? Spice and concentration. Little acetone and sweetness. Sensual but still harsh. Needs much more time. But seriously incredible wine. So intense and pure. And clean. Excited to see where this will go. — 21 days ago

Gorgeous nose. Big ripe red and black berry fruits, cassis, almost liquer like, floral, dark, earthy, perfumed, gorgeous. Palate is massive, brawny, big, dense with those sagrantino tannins. Wow. Awesome. Sweet fruit and lingering tannins and huge dry extract. Needs brontosaurus.

wAyyyy better after 2 hours. Tannins more velvety but still big. More harmony on the nose. Lovely. Really elegant. Killer.

I used to drink Linni Lambrusco (& I still will) but once I found this in my local wine shop....Dry dry but with a lovely raspberry mousse flavor, a sharp acidity. A well constructed bottle too, w foil wrapping beneath the capsule. And goes with most food- thyme scented beef lasagna from the farmers market in this case. — 7 days ago
