Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese Blend

Popped and poured; enjoyed over two days. Best on Day 2. The 2021 “Etna Rosso” pours a bright ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is youthful with bright cherries and raspberries, carnations and rocky minerals. On the palate, medium+ tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. This is a very pretty wine that wins you over with its charm and it’s versatile on the dinner table as well. Great QPR. Drink now with a little patience and through 2031.

Color rose red. Nice vino

Nariz: cereza, frambuesa, violetas, piedra volcánica

Boca: Tanino M, Acidez M/M+, Alcohol M

Quite nice Etna Rosso with Pat’s lasagna ($27)

Nice, drinkable light wine. Red fruit and minerals

This was a great pairing with a salad with pine nuts Parmesan and dried cherries with balsamic dressing. Not tannic but good balance. Light but not without body.
