Amazing wine. Powerful and precise. Dark sweet cherry, wood spice, fresh berries. — 3 years ago
Masterclass with in San Francisco with Saskia De Rothschild, Chairwoman DBR Lafite. Duhart-Milton is another property the Rothschild’s own.
The nose shows, bright, ripe, candied fruits with pleasant, bright florals. Blackberries, dark cherries, blue fruits, strawberries & pomegranate. Tobacco notes, leather, dry brush, limestone, crushed dry rocks, beautiful red, dark fresh florals with violets.
The body is full and shows the strength of the 15 vintage but, this is one should not be enjoyed at least for 10-15 years. Tannins are fine and firm. Ripe and slightly candied fruits of; blackberries, dark cherries, blue fruits, strawberries & pomegranate. Tobacco notes, leather, dry brush, limestone, crushed dry rocks, dry river stones, black dry earth, cedar, graphite, beautiful red, dark fresh florals with violets. The acidity is really good. The structure, tension, length and balance are good now but, show greater promise down the road. The finish is very good, well balanced, elegant and persists minutes.
All wines arrived weeks ago directly from the Chateau.

Inky purple red. Raspberry and black currant aromas, raspberry and cola flavors. Rounded mouthfeel, cherry cough syrup finish. After 60 minutes, cherry and bay leaf flavors emerge, with mild seed tannin finish. A pretty flavor profile here in a soft, restrained red. After 24 hours, blueberry flavors emerge in the mix, lending brightness to the finish. Good stuff, great depth of flavor. — 7 months ago
Color of dull ruby with shades of purple and brown on the rim, a bit cloudy. Nose of cocoa, spice, burning sensation in the nose, fermented cabbage, carbonated water, and a bit berries. Taste basically follows the nose with quite good tannins and slightly sweet, some tobacco leaves, and some bitter tangerine zest. Aftertaste is medium with some more sweet ripe grape and peppery note. A bit light yet on par. — 4 years ago

Beautiful Syrah which in 2011 was co-fermented with 5% Viognier from the Rocks District of Milton-Freewater in Oregon. Medium ruby red with some garnet hues. Layered nose with purple flowers, light baking spices, crushed rocks, raspberries and a bit savory. Medium plus tannins (7/10) and medium plus body. Love the funk and iron on the palate followed up by some red berries, smoked earth and white pepper. Long finish. Drink till 2025.

Very good. Especially for the price! ~$10 — a year ago
This bottle of Chateau Cissac from the Haut Medoc region of Bordeaux is excellent. I think this is my first true dive into the Bordeaux appellation. This wine was highly recommended from the folks at Craft and Cru in Milton. This is a true well-balanced drink with a smoked cedar flavor, complimenting the richness of blueberry and plum flavors. This bottle of Bordeaux is rich and has a great finish that lingers well after each sip. — 5 years ago

Incredible now but could age for decades. Perfect choice to have before we hunker down for Hurricane Milton — a month ago
