Some Days are Stones Syrah

Ah, the Rocks at Milton-Freewater produce such remarkable and distinctive fruit. Morgan Lee’s take on the Stoney Vine Syrah is outstanding. Earthy, gamey, succulent, dark and full stone fruit (plum) that just keeps going. This is good for another 5 years I think.

Nice tannic edge, bright fruit, excellent minerality, so typical of The Rocks. Yummy!

Classic Rocks! Bacon fat, game and black fruit. Killer balance. The most approachable 2012 I've had from the region, yet the this wine will age well.

Gambled on this but it is drinking perfectly. The 2013 is my favorite year, but this is a close second.

Beautiful wine with a funky nose that is really coming in to it's own. The age has soften this wine making it very enjoyable to drink. Many layers on this one to enjoy and discuss while drinking.

Been 3 years since I first had this wine and haven’t changed my mind. Sexy nose, crushed rocks, some floral notes. What a gem!
