This wine was made for fireside fun and cool temps yet it is real hot and this is cold so is this the Switzerland of wine coolers?! I think so. Summer or winter it is fucking catnip for my tastebuds. Were I to analyze technically? It is all the damn baking spices—cinnamon allspice nutmeg and a hint of clove but not obnoxiously so—and it has all been hanging out with an orange and with, say, a sta Rita hills pinot. A red wine with a backbone but it’s light. I feel guilty sometimes endorsing wine coolers but you know what? Some coolers are art. And I’d say this is. Summer and winter art. If Guernica and something from Picasso’s rose period had a love child it would be this. — 8 years ago
Lacks the fruit and subtle flavours of a domain leflaive puligny but very drinkable. — 8 years ago
2018 vintage. Last tasted 8.26.22 (9.3) and 7.21.21 (9.3). Medium/medium-heavy body. Slightly less end palate lift than last two encounters and tasting like it is in that proverbial "state of confusion...er...transition." Would like to taste again and will give it 3-4 years before revisiting to do this justice. Pretty unified now without side projects and ancillary rabbit holes but something tells me this has another third act of mayhem and debauchery up its' sleeve. 07.09.25. — a year ago
Delectable this was the Saint Aubin not in your Database. At a friends place checking out his amazing cellar. This St Aubin was very mineral with a touch of beeswax. Good acid. Brief notes but this was a delicious white burgundy showing restraint compared to the new world. Delectable : It was the Chardonnay! — 4 years ago

Love st mayhem. This does in fact taste like a tasty sangria. Oddly I’ve found I like canned sangrias better than regular go fig. This is red fruits of all sorts, fresh squeezed orange, blood orange and Christmas baking spice. And happiness. Totally happiness. — 8 years ago

Glycerin soap nose, lemon, quince, pink grapefruit banana artichoke and cranberry. Frog eyes forming from the primordial soup. Cream-Coffee-soft, breaded and tender orange-pomelo on the half shell.
