Of the 19’s, this one was showing the best. All Zin on the nose, but light, silky and elegant in the palette. I’m told this is the result of Evangelho’s beach sandy soils. As this is Bedrock, the vines are old with some roots reaching 40 ft deep. An unlikely wine from an unlikely place: just a BART ride away located between a power plant and abandoned Burger King. — 20 days ago

Not a big fan of red normally but loved this wine. So smooth and jammy — 8 days ago
Dark and thick. Inky dark fruit, blackberry, menthol, black plum skin, bramble, some oak. Tannins sit on top of the tongue. Acidity trickles down the side. There’s an initial tartness, maybe the black plum skin. The menthol and wood notes creep in with leather emerging. Blackberry and bramble round out the flavor. This is the best I’ve had from 3 Wine Co. — 25 days ago
Best cuvee from Southold I’ve had in a while. Really digging this. GSM blend. Structured with perfect amount of fruit ripeness. Excellent food wine. — 6 days ago
Awesome...and surprisingly approachable for such a young wine (especially considering the 11% petite sirah that’s part of the blend). Was even better after a couple of days - good thing I have a few more of these in the cellar. Lots of fun doing a virtual tasting of this one with @David MacMillan and @Chris! — a month ago
