Gorgeous clear cherry on the nose. Round and opulent and so pretty. Spice, cinnamon, tar, tobacco, so clear and vivid. Palate is ripe, deep, powerful and very concentrated. Really this is a large scaled wine but still has an elegant yet intense structure. Red fruits all the way and a bit awkward initially and needs maybe 40 minutes to get there. Delicious stuff. Long finish and really high quality fruit that only comes from a top top vintage. — 2 years ago

Lovely Barolo aged just right to be consumed now, and quite a value at $61. Tannins are perfectly smooth and attack is a nice light cherry flavor. The acidity complained about in earlier reviews is gone. Filtration necessary but no decant is needed. — 6 months ago
