@Delectable Wine this is actually quarantatre 43. Much more open than last time. Wow. Nose of soaked mid season cherries, intense spice, minerals, tobacco, leather, smoke. Gorgeous. Palate is juicy and has stunning inner mouth aromas. Man this is juicy. So complex and ripe but perfectly balanced and so so pure. Stunning depth and loads of cherries, ripe sweet tannins and insane freshness. Wonderful. With air the nose is more violets and gets really detailed and precise. Wonderful.

Nose: savory. Spice perfect lilacs. Violets. So perfect. Maybe a hint of age as it aerates.
Palate: perfect “sweet “ cherry fruit. Gorgeous silky licorice. Still fresh.
