Opened this, and for once, let this breathe for an hour.
Lovely visual, crystalline presentation, the nose is clean and laced with cola. On the mid-palate, this could be a traditional burg. Light on its feet, relaxed acidity and moderate tannins. Beautifully balanced, just lacked the sweetness we’ve come to expect from Cali pinots. Cherries and cola dominate. My mindset isn’t organized for this tonight.

Everything a good Pinot Noir should be. There are subtle fruit notes but still a medium body wine that hold up well. Note the alcohol content is 13%, which for a Cal wine seems low. Kudos to the winemaker for making such an impressive wine without bumping up the alcohol content. FYI, the 2021 was a Costco close out in the San Diego area. — 9 months ago

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was such a wonderful bottle. More mineral than fruit upon opening the bottle, but with time, each sip became smoother and more enjoyable. A great complement to sous vide lamb. — 3 years ago
