This is such an aromatically pretty Gamay, with floral, redfruits and some faint violets as well, great balance, soft tannins, just a slight chalky note in the end palate that leads to a lovely, lingering finish, I guess this is what Gamay tastes like when made by an excellent Cote Rotie producer!! — 19 days ago

Experienced this producer last year and wasn’t a fan but everyone deserves a second chance….Mr Prieure is redeeming himself…..Sommelier was a big fan too, recommending this over some other big names…..tasting notes: very light and delicate, scents of pickled cucumber (yes, really) and rhubarb. Not our usual deep berry concentration, this one is much more sophisticated, and deserving of the occasion and venue! — 6 months ago
