When cold, aromas reminded me of Meyer lemon cheesecake and brine but as wine warmed a bit, aromas turned to bright lemon, lavender, and gardenia. Baking spices and minerals buried deep. Beautiful wine with a finish to match. As worthy as any fine Chard the world offers. — a month ago
Very drinkable now. Smooth with bright red fruits and a good finish. A red wine my wife likes with good fruit up front. — 9 months ago

2005 vintage. Last tasted 11.23.23 (9.4), 11.15.19 (9.4), 06.01.17 (9.5) Last bottle. Respectable, low neck fill. Used a Durand and excellent cork. Decanted with sticky (to the bottle) sediment and not that much floating loose to navigate. Tasted after 30 minutes. Those inimitable, sexy Cos stylings. Medium/medium heavy (still!?) bod. Richness. Ample fruit. Slight amount of aged George Clinton/Bootsy funk. Highly restrained tannins. Woah. This. Did. Not. Suck. Time to reorder. 9.13.25. — 2 months ago

Opens up nicely. Heavy cherry on the front and some chocolate. Oak, on the back end. Medium tannin, medium body — 9 months ago

2018 vintage on 10/19/25 with homemade bake rigatoni. Nice cab that went well with the red sauce. — 13 days ago
