Star bright yellow gold. Inviting nose and medium light palate of tart yellow apple, with the palate adding a flinty mineral note that's classic Chablis. Acidity is medium plus: just right to support a wide range of cuisines. Northern French and seafood are obvious pairs, but I enjoyed with the Louisiana favorite, jambalaya. Such a deep gold color. Palate is smokey, flinty and honeyed. New tweed jacket. Hint of VA. But really a unique Les Filles. Very complex aromas. Luscious, pure and balanced. Wow this palate is super elegant and nimble for this cuvee. So juicy and almost weightless. Gorgeous finish. Closed but my goodness this is stunning. Amazingly textured almost tannic on the finish.
