Good value, on the fruity (red mostly) side pf Rioja, well handled oak and good body to it. Pleasant — 3 days ago
Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Strong nose of blueberries, cherries, sweet strawberries, cedar, wild flowers, vanilla, liquorice, cloves, dark chocolates, coffee, tobacco and peppercorn.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with cherries, currants, raspberries, cedar, leather, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, coke, light vegetables and peppercorn.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This is a very enjoyable wine from Spain. Tangy and spicy. Really enjoyed the nose here, simpler on the palate. Showing mild complexity with a tangy finish.
Fruit forward right out of the bottle, but after an hour of airtime it opens up with that great nose.
I paired it with cheeses, crackers and olives. Was especially good with the fatty Brie cheese.
Kosher. Not Mevushal.
14% alcohol by volume.

Had with Lasagna one night and gnocchi bolognese another. Both were an excellent pairing — 7 days ago
All good things Tempranillo. Lovely. Leather, spice box, tannins, depth. — 15 hours ago
We’ve never had a bad bottle of this...luck, I guess. Typical complexity, great after two hours of air...beeswax, honeyed citrus, slight oxidation, faintest hint of petrol...all underpinned by just enough acidity...fabulous with a steak or salmon, in our case. — 14 days ago
