Medium ruby in color; cherries, hibiscus, and black teaon the nose; medium acidity; high tannins; tastes like strawberry jam, blackberries, and a hint of asphalt with a long finish. Letting it decant to see if it opens up more. It really opened up after an hour in the decanter. There was a bitterness that dissappeared. Nellie and I both like this wine. — 12 days ago
