It doesn’t get much better than this. A beautiful Rhone white blend. Aged better than expected. — 5 years ago
A note from last weekend at the Gold Coast. Initially too cool from the fridge so left it for 20 minutes. Mid to a deeper yellow in colour. Aromas of Apricot and Quince with a touch of honey. On the palate - quince, apricot, pear - a mouthful of deliciousness and a flavour explosion - low acid. Texturally it is unctuous with the blend being around 80% Roussane. These vines were planted nearly 100 years ago and comprise only 3 Hectares. Needless to say the quantities produced are small. Must locate more if I can find. In summary a stunning full bodied white wine. — 5 years ago

Unusual wine but very nice and texture with good mouth feel — 2 months ago
‘12 in ‘26. This wine was gorgeous. Aged beautifully. Aromatics of pure elegance jumped from the glass. Med+ body and a mix of red and black fruit. Layered without being dense. Revealing something new with each sip. A memorable wine. — 6 months ago
Honeysuckle, apricot, white peach — 2 years ago
Interesting White CDP blend of Clairette (60%), Grenache Blanc (20%), Bourboulenc (10%) and Roussane (10%). Straw gold color. Aromas and flavors of peach, apricot, crushed stones and white flowers. Intense minerality. A hint of vanilla and dried spices on the finish. Chalky texture and Lively acidity. Medium-plus body. Fresh and clean. Excellent! — 4 years ago
18 very special. Deep gold. Nose both floral and honeyed. Wonderful mouthfeel - coats palate. Perfect balance of fruit and acidity. Compares well with Le Meal blanc or Beaucastel blanc VV. — 5 years ago
Powerful! Deep purple color. Smokey and meaty. I like it, but might be overpowering for some. — 7 years ago
Tangerine, white blossom, honeysuckle, ripe apricot, plum, baked quince and pear, orange oil. Dried mint and other herbs. Pale gold. Whole cluster, fermented in wooden tanks, aged on fine lees in used oak Barrique-ish for 8 months. Low acidity, medium plus length. Medium plus intensity. Phenolic bitterness. 70% Viognier, 30% Roussane. — 7 years ago

One of my favorite roussane.
Nose is dense and complex. Orange peel. A hint of peat.
Palate is rich but elegantly so. Not over the top like much northern rhone roussane. Very very precise without a hint of blowsiness. Just killer precise linear tropical fruit.
As for the vintage ? True artistes do not stoop to arithmetics.

40% Viognier, 31% Grenache Blanc, 22% Roussanne, 7% Marsanne. Light vanilla oak accents leading Viognier fruit, with Roussane beefing up the middle. Tasty. — 7 years ago
