Big cab Syrah blend. Feels excessively alcoholic in spite of a 13.5% on label. It hits you like a punch in the face but it is a one shot effect without an evolving taste. Maybe will get better a few hours after opening. Follow up a few hours after opening and the day after: not getting any less brutish — a year ago

Bought this at total wine as they were touting it as their best value for the year. This Pinot is syrupy at first, then evolves into an artificial red fruit flavor. Would not recommend. I dumped half a bottle — 3 years ago
