Inky in color with a short reddish rim.
Beautiful nose of black currants, plums, tobacco, licorice, light vanilla, chocolates, light cedar, espresso, herbs, earth and light vinaigrette.
Full-bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cooked cherries, cedar, herbs, toast, light vanilla, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, coffee, peppercorn, earth and mediterranean spices.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Fruit forward, rich and elegant. Very complex and engaging.
This 12 year old Cabernet Sauvignon is staring to drink at its peak now, and will continue to do so in the next 7 to 10 years.
A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with a nice piece of steak.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the slopes of Spring Mountain were aged in French oak barrels. A small production of less than 8,200 bottles.

Medium lemon core . Some ripe pear , citrus, white flowers , light white peach and red apple notes also with just a touch of toastiness. Quite ripe and generous on the nose . On the palate this is also generous in style , creamy ripe pear and lightly honied apple , white peach , though there are some more chalky , seashell elements that turn up on the finish . This is quite rounded but has enough energy and acidity to balance well, alcohol is also balanced , and there is a light saline hint also on the moderate length finish . This is drinking well now and I don’t see it being particularly long lived , so best over the next 5 years or so — 4 months ago

Hard to believe this is a 17yr old WA state Syrah. 100% varietal, all from Les Collines vineyard. 13.9ABV
Sporting a deep purple color even at 17yrs, this feels like it is just now entering prime time. Big aromatics of peppered smoked meats, whole cluster/green herbs, red and blackberry fruits. Floral and balanced with fruit but spices/herbs in the background. Where Cayuse (and all Christophe Baron/Rocks district) wines trend to the savory/sanguine profile (which I enjoy), this balances the dark fruit, smoky/charcoal, savory/spice driven side of Syrah in its typical rustic/feral profile. Nice bridge between cool climate New World Syrah and ripe vintage Cornas. Finish is more vibrant and less requiring of food as the CB wines do.
Followed over three days and shockingly held up. If you have a bottle, open and enjoy but no immediate rush. — 9 months ago
Lovely aged wine. Drank in June 2026. Dark brick in colour. Lots of body still with strong acid and longish finish. Dark fruit nose and palate. Very lovely wine. Had with BBQ steak & fresh crab. — 7 days ago

This is my entrance into the world of Chablis. Don't know how it took me so long, but I've also never seen Top Gun 🤷♂️ This wine has a supple mouthfeel despite it's bright acidity on the back of my tongue. Flavors of lemon and peach, with plenty of minerality on the finish. Thanks to my friends who gave recommendations- this is the first one from your lists that I found locally. The gentle nose shows bright citrus, yellow peach, dried pear, and hint of crush nuts. On the palate it’s concentrated yet vibrant, with round acidity, spice and orange blossom, balanced by lively mineral drive and a long, lingering finish that meshes power with poise.

A perfect balance between oak and fruit (blackberry) from this Barossa Shiraz. Great winemaking from John Duval who has quite the CV. John was Chief Winemaker at Penfolds from 1986 until 2002 being only the 3rd custodian of Penfolds Grange after Max Schubert (creator of Grange) and Don Ditter. In 2020 this wine received Shiraz of the Year and 99 points from the James Halliday Wine Companion. The product of old vines in the Barossa.
