Lovely aged wine. Drank in June 2026. Dark brick in colour. Lots of body still with strong acid and longish finish. Dark fruit nose and palate. Very lovely wine. Had with BBQ steak & fresh crab.

@Delectable Wine. This is the 2011 J Bookwalter Conflict Conner Lee Vineyard. Great Cabernet from a great family of farmers & winemakers. They don't own Conner Lee, but the Senior J Bookwalter is the vineyard manager. A magical Cabernet site. Seriously delicious stuff.

A solid wine but it lacks the oomph of a L'Aventure, for instance. Great brightness up front but the finish is not particularly memorable. Unfulfilled potential.
