The first day of opening this wine it was harsh and stuffy. I was not impressed. However, on the second day, this wine opened up and became very light and flavorful - a juicy Pinot Noir of jammy cherry and berries. — 3 years ago
Love it - dry, dense, spicy and savoury. Just what I like! — 3 months ago
Blend of Shiraz (77%), Merlot (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (8%) Dark and brooding black/purple color. Intense aromas and flavors of black plum/currant/cherry fruit with noticeable hints of dark chocolate, baking spices and menthol. Full bodied and powerful with a fruit forward and smokey (quite long) finish. Tannins and acidity are soft. Solid quality and opulence for the price. — 5 months ago
Blend of Shiraz (77%), Cabernet Sauvignon (16%) and Merlot (7%). Deep purple core with a lighter ruby rim. Aromas of cooked blueberries, plums and dark chocolate. Same fruits on the palate with additional spicy notes of black pepper and black licorice. Long and fruity finish. Creamy texture with soft and velvety tannins. The acidity is still quite lively. Medium-plus body. Aged beautifully. Thanks for the gift, Petey! — 5 months ago
Notes of Toffee Apple initially - a little reductive to begin with. Pale dirty crimson - transparent in parts - quite Burgundian in colour. A light to medium weight palate but Medium intensity. Like a good Village, verging on Premier Cru. Interesting and tasty but needing about 4 or 5 years more to develop complexity.
