Mon Coeur Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend 2022

A. R.
8.9

Great base-level CdR from the negociant side of Chave. Floral and high toned fruit on the nose, red fruit and a bit of pepper on the finish. Some good typical spice. Decent finish. Slightly high alcohol. Probably has some upside with aging. — 19 days ago

Saint-Joseph Syrah

Depth and concentration, this bottle is an ode to south saint joseph wines, with great balance and complexity. To achieve a better grade I need more finesse, but the vintages is also like that — a month ago

J’ai adoré cette cuvée quand j’ai eu l’occasion de la goûter, à l’époque où les prix étaient encore "raisonnables"

Tablas Creek Vineyard

Esprit Blanc de Tablas Roussanne Blend 2022

Yellow/golden in color.

Earthy nose with citrus, lemons, minerals, sea salt, yellow apples, spices, light earth, and light honey.

Medium-plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with citrus, apples, pears, light earth, light honey, sea salt, herbs, oak, white pepper and spices.

Long finish with lemons and light herbs.

This is a delicious white Rhône blend from Paso Robles. Elegant and rich. Fruit-forward and well-balanced.

Good right out of the bottle and gets more complex as it opens up (20 minutes) in the glass.

Drinking beautifully already, at only 2 years old, and will continue to age nicely over the next 5 to 7 years.

Complex and crisp. Spicy and interesting.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

A blend of 33% Roussanne, 32% Grenache Blanc, 14% Picpoul Blanc, 8% Clairette Blanche, 8% Picardan and 5% Bourboulenc.

12.5% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$60.
