Wasn't able to identify the grapes but man, this is a good white. Pleasant and complex. Baked custard, marmalade, and saline minerality. Then lively and juicy on the finish like biting into a fresh pear, complete with the little hint of pear skin tannin. — a month ago
Good fruit, smooth tannins….this wine is drinking well and has some life left — 15 days ago
Beautiful Gamay. Having this in NOLA with French/Cajun food. Fantastic. Very well balanced. — 15 days ago
The 2020 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is well-defined on the nose with joyful brambly red fruit laced with crushed stone, certainly one of the more mineral-driven wines from the famed closed wall. There is an almost crystalline quality here. The palate is medium-bodied with a sense of strictness, fresh and quite sapid, not powerful yet taut, and has a finish that makes you want another sip. This is a 2020 that surpassed expectations. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, October 2024)

What a pair w/ Crostini, Chervil Sheep Cheese & Duck Confit. 👌
Dark, juicy, lush to mid fruit core, dark cherries, strawberries, hues of blueberries, raspberries, limestone, softened granitic earth, deeper red cola, black & red licorice, baseball card bubble gum, understated fresh herbs, dark, rich, sweet earth, hints of maple syrup, tree bark w/ sap, dark & red florals for days, excellent, round acidity and a well made, balanced, relaxed tension, polished, lush finish that lasts 90 seconds. Delicious.
This is better than some premier cru red burgundies for far less $.
Absolutely one of the top three producers of Grand Cru Gamay. — 23 days ago
