An oldie and a goodie direct from my cellar. Pop and pour. Color is still bright ruby/brick, no browning. Nose: tobacco, cedar, garden shed. Palate: acid +, body 0, T +, some graphite and echo of ivy leaf in the finish. Showing well, but also a fine old claret, even if still slightly rough edged. — a year ago

All flint and lime zest on the nose. With air this gained an earthy depth with crushed english ivy and floral violet notes. Very complex and wouls be a great wine to experiment with food pairing. I had to double check it was not Gruner Veltliner. 😁 — 5 years ago

Very 🍒. Morellos. So much in your face cherry on the 👃 and in the glass. Give it 1 hour to breathe it gains weight. Darker cherries. Tannins come back touch chalk. Hint of all spice on the back palate. Drink now not really a wine to put away for aging. At Juniper & Ivy in San Diego 1/2 bottle 68$. — 6 years ago
