Montalbera
La Tradizione Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato Ruche
Castagnole Monferrato, Monferrato, Piedmont, ItalyWow, nicely rounded red. Perfectly pairs with food. Balanced tannins, ripe berry,, with hints of dried cherry, light spice and leather with a lingering finish.

Roses and basil. At juniper&ivy in San Diego. Inexpensive for a wine on a restaurant list. I would think 22$ retail. Rare grape 🍇. A great buy for 51$ if you want to save money at dinner. 🌹 🌹 🌹 Roses in a glass. Good with pasta. I had this wine years ago at Gjelina in LA.

Tea, dried twigs, ripe raspberry, black pepper. Good acidity, soft tannins. (A little bitter on the finish?) From Fermented Grapes on Vanderbilt.
