Not too bold but pleasant. Liked. Bought at Vivino (Felion) for ¥6,800. — 2 months ago
After it opened up really enjoyed it with homemade pasta and red sauce! — 2 months ago
Initially a bit closed, after two hours in the decanter this really opens up. Black cherry and sage come through on the nose and continue onto the palate with additional notes of cassis, bay leaf, and cloves. Has a persistent finish with herbs, spice, and black tea lingering on the palate. The herbal and spice flavors were really vibrant when paired with basil pesto pasta and mushrooms. Medium+ acidity, medium+ body, and medium tannins. This is the 2021 vintage. — 4 months ago

Dried fig, prune, black cherry, orange peel, cedar, clove, violet, dark chocolate, walnut. Smoky note — cured tobacco, not char. Silky tannin, integrated spirit, long warm finish. — 13 days ago
It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.
Earthy nose with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, chocolates, Indian spices, tobacco leaf, dark coffee, earth, dark chocolates, green vegetables and herbs.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, cherries, oak, dark chocolates, coffee, spices, earth, black tea, light green vegetables and peppercorn.
Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a young Cabernet Sauvignon from Spring Mountain District in Napa Valley. Elegant and nicely balanced. Fruit forward and complex, with a soft mouthfeel. Feels like a Left Bank Bordeaux.
Needed 3 hours in the decanter to open up properly, so be patient.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ point wine.
I've had a few different vintages of this wine and this vintage seems to be more approachable at this young age.
Delicious by itself, and paired beautifully with the beef brisket.
A blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Cabernet Franc. Aged in (50% new) French Oak barrels for 18 months.
14.2% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

This 1998 7 Springs Pinot seems mature, supple, candied red fruits, nice balance, good length, but not quite a typically-excellent bottle of this wine. — 2 months ago
Very good wine — 6 months ago
Incredible wine! So smooth and with a fantastic finish. Not sure I’d pay $250 for it though. — 19 days ago
Beautifully perfumed flower and sweet red fruits, the flavors show the red fruit as well, very well-balanced, soft tannins, close to mature, long, lingering finish, really a beautiful aged Oregon Pinot Noir that will pair wonderfully with the wild Copper River sockeye salmon!! — 2 months ago

This aged Oregon Chardonnay is still showing quite well, some honeyed aromas, but solid fruit and acidity, a medium-long finish, this is the first of 6 bottles I found in a box with non-Chardonnays, how well this is showing tonight gives me hope it will continue to drink well for a few more years, kudos to Mark Vlossak!! — 5 hours ago
