Mid to dark Ruby in colour. Black and Red fruits - aromatics of blackberry, note of raspberry, earthy and sandy notes. A medium to full bodied palate - rich and enduring. Costers de Vinyes Vielles comes from the company’s oldest vines. A blend of 110 year old Carinena (55%) and 90 year old Garnacha (45%). Aged for 16 months in French oak. One of the 1001 Wines. 14.5% ABV. Love Priorat wines after our visit in 2022. — 3 months ago
This is a delicious Chardonnay from Russian River Valley.
Medium plus in body and nicely balanced.
Dry on the palate with medium acidity.
Showing citrus, oak, light vanilla, spices, light earth, honey, yellow apples and pears.
Long finish with limes and grapefruits.
This 5 year old Chardonnay is drinking very nicely now. Showing nice balance with a soft mouthfeel.
Easy drinking and good right out of the bottle. Drinking at its peak.
Will continue to drink nicely in the next 3 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine. Paired nicely with hard cheddar cheese.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Not sure why I had low expectations for this but it performed super well. — 4 months ago
Yep. Tastes like merlot. $55 — 10 months ago
The 2015 Les Carmes Haut-Brion is the first vintage vinified with 100% infusion, including 55% whole bunches. This has a much more intense bouquet compared to the 2014: copious blackberries, blueberry and crushed violet scents, hints of blood orange and a light cassis touch with time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine density and precision, good grip, edgy tannins with clearly more mineralité percolating through the finish. Excellent. Tasted at the Les Carmes Haut-Brion vertical at the château. (Neal Martin, Vinous, October 2022)

45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot, it’s an under the radar Taittinger that comes from vines near the house. Really good, in fact gorgeous. — a month ago
