Procured via auction. Have had bad bottles before but cork looked solid (used Durand to take no chances).
This bottle was excellent and the wine developed nicely in the glass over about 1.5 hours. Kept in my ETO.
Nice black and dark fruits with a little muscle. Oak integrated and not overpowering.
Lovely pairing with steak. — 3 days ago
Lovely wine. Bright red cherries, and a bit of chocolate and spice. Fine tannins. Paired beautifully with salmon. — 8 days ago

Redfruits, still quite youthful, some tannins as well, lacks just a bit of charm for a Pinot, but also perhaps why it’s so youthful, medium-long finish, very good Oregon Pinot!! — 22 days ago
I’m biased. Monastrell is my fav grape. This is one of the better ones I’ve tried. It’s rich, supple, dry and lovely. — 4 days ago

Ridge Zinfandel blends always age well. This was no different. Tasted this blind and no one called Zinfandel. That’s how different they become with this kind of age. That Zinfandel jamminess fades and complexity rises.
