Very nice Lopez from a hot year. Have tempranillo so rarely. The oak is definitely there but the touch is rather deft. Wonderfully mouth filling with nice fruit and the acid keeps it in balance. Long finish. Great pairing with a New Year’s Day rack of lamb. Happy new year! — a month ago
Found a ‘10, Ruby with aromas of ripe dark fruits and perfumed spices. On the palate flavors of black cherry and plum with licorice, leather, spice and herb notes. Soft tannins, hints of oak on medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and earthy mineral tones. Nice, still tasting well but starting to get tired! Drink now! — a month ago

1 hour decant(some fine/cloudy sediment). An appealing dark ruby red color. On the nose: blackberry, dark plum, cigar box, cinnamon, pine, wet forest floor. Taste: smooth, dry, restrained style of wine with savory notes of smoked meat, leather, herbs, with just a touch of fading dark plum/blueberry and a spiced graphite cedar dry finish. Don't think this is going anywhere, so better pop one if you got em and let me know what you think — 5 months ago
Blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot. This estate owes its name to Connetable Talbot, the English general & governor of the province of Guyenne who was defeated at the famous Battle of Castillon in 1453. Aromas of juicy black fruits with herbs and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with cacao and tobacco spice, on a well balanced frame. Fine grippy tannins, long savory ending with fruit, earthy herb spice and cedar character. — a month ago
My sisters birth year and finally time to open it. Pairing with rack of lamb for Christmas dinner. Opened and decanted for a couple hours. Starts off light and not very expressive. Finished with dinner as an incredible robust Bordeaux with great fruit and depth. Wow. This wine showed why old Bordeaux rocks. — a month ago

Refined and sophisticated. Abundant red fruit. Would like a little more finish but that’s just being greedy. — a month ago
