A typically elegant wine showing depth of fruit and solid viscosity. Nice nose, mouth and finish. A very good food wine. Buy

Sandlewood, cinnamon, spices, bright red fruits... Wound up. Nice sweet Grenache.. hints of plum with a savory finish. Half bottle...

After a funky bretty half of 2007 in Cali we doubled up and popped a mag that never left the cellar in France. Really good with lots of life, still pretty ripe with hefty alcohol but not out of balance. Will be interesting to watch it evolve...

Hands down the best wine I have enjoyed in 2016. Layers of complexity and unparalleled balance. Has another 20 year window to enjoy.

Solid CDP in great vintage but I ranked it 7th if 7 wines in our 2007 CDP blind tasting. A little "thin" compared to others.

With the short ribs. Do not attempt without food. Otherwise a long decant was useful
