Wild brambly nose of nutmeg, barrel toast, and cloves. Surprisingly sweet on the palette, complemented with firm notes of anise, smoke and soft brown sugar. Excellent stuff.

Apr 28th, 2017After a funky bretty half of 2007 in Cali we doubled up and popped a mag that never left the cellar in France. Really good with lots of life, still pretty ripe with hefty alcohol but not out of balance. Will be interesting to watch it evolve...

Solid CDP in great vintage but I ranked it 7th if 7 wines in our 2007 CDP blind tasting. A little "thin" compared to others.
