Decanted 1.5 hours. Not quite at the level of some other monte bellos I’ve had, but still very nice. Nose is wonderful - easily a 9.4+ nose. Lots of dark cherry and some earthy / hay / forest floor notes. But this doesn’t quite have the full mouthfeel and depth I was hoping for. Finish is slightly tannic with good acid. Nice pairing with pork chops - and a fun bottle for my son’s 2nd bday. — 2 years ago
On the nose the fruits have taken a back seat to honey, dried hay, lightly roasted nut, and flinty minerals. The palate is intense and viscous with complex tastes of bruised apple, apricot, lime, honeysuckle, and honey. Sharp acidity is a bit aggressive at times, but countered by hint of sweetness. Saline long finish.
Very good, but a bit below my expectation. Not sure it will continue to improve after 14 years. — 8 months ago
Golden hay color. Aromas of pineapple, honey, apple, peach, white floral, and lemon. Beautifully balanced with a hint of minerality. Dry, medium body and acidity. Best white wine I’ve had in a while! — a year ago
Delicious and well balanced cab, not super complex but very satisfying. Good value. — 2 years ago
I adore this woman maker in the Dolomites, but my friends felt this white blend too suave for the setting (San Juan, PR) — 2 months ago

No real notes, sharing this with my friend who came over from france and who, incidentally, lives in lyon, next-door to beaujolais. Cherry, cherry liqueur, earth, hay, violet, this is pinotesque with some more fruit. The palate shows acid drive, cherry, cherry cola, some width, some matter, some tannins in the rear. The cherry,.cherry liqueur and violet finish lasts for a very long while. This is superb and could probably last for another 10 15 years. — 13 days ago
