Very pale lemon in colour particularly for a 13 year old wine. Aromas of wet hay, toast, lime and lemon curd notes. On the palate that soapy lanolin like texture you get with aged Semillon. My last 2009. If I had another one it would be ok to drink in the next few years. A prolific trophy winner on the Australian Show Circuit as you can see from the label. — 4 years ago
Oh yessss…
That’s a lot more like it.
Inviting nose of hay, green tea, vanillapods, lemoncurd and quince-jelly. Wonderful mouthfeel, loooong finish. When I savour and taste this, I am puzzled by its apparent contradictions: umami vs citrusfruit, massive structure vs subtle complexity, marmalade vs mushrooms, strict and rigid vs suave and playful, searing acidity vs creamy roundness. Only touches of tertiary characteristics.
Full of life, 25 years young. Love it!

Delicate nose of green mango rind, tart green citrus, maybe wet sea sand, with a touch of hay, with some slight bakers goods notes underneath. Light bodied, grassy and mineral on the palate, with notes of honeydew melon, maybe some ash, underripe green fruits, maybe herbaceous notes, but slightly creamy on the finish, with a palate or maybe green lush grass. Very interesting! — 2 years ago
Pear, yellow apple, minerals, hay. Lots of ripe pear and apple on the palate with some bread crust and steely minerality. A touch of bitterness and alcohol heat as well. Medium acidity.
Good balance and nice, ripe fruit flavors. — 4 years ago
I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I do, for some reason. Anyway, this is excellent. Very fragrant (with air), showing intense sweet hay, meadow flowers, ginger ale notes, crisp pear, and crushed stone. Intense in the mouth too, but with a weightlessness that is very appealing. Long, minerally, bone dry finish with an almost Muscadet-like quinine thing at the end. — 5 years ago
Superb Nebbiolo!! Met the wine maker!!’ — 7 years ago
Golden hay color. Aromas of pineapple, honey, apple, peach, white floral, and lemon. Beautifully balanced with a hint of minerality. Dry, medium body and acidity. Best white wine I’ve had in a while! — 2 years ago
Delicious and well balanced cab, not super complex but very satisfying. Good value. — 4 years ago
Cherry, hay, earth, plum somehow. Nice typical nose. The palate is well designed with a great acid backbone, a nice cherry note that shines all through the palate, soft, almost cushiony mouthfeel, a great build up in the rear with a tiny tannins effect that create a tiny distorsion in the mouthfeel before a fruit forward finish with a tiny bitter note that pops up. In a much better place than the last bottle. 2 more bottles out of the 6-box we bought in August last year — 4 years ago
If you’re not aging your Condrieu a little bit, you’re doing it wrong. Chamomile, ripe peach, hay. — 4 years ago

I adore this woman maker in the Dolomites, but my friends felt this white blend too suave for the setting (San Juan, PR) — a year ago
