Loads of petrol, liquid mineral, and apple skin fruit on the nose. Still quite fresh (fresher than a bottle I had several years ago, as I recall). Rich, with tons of dry extract, in the mouth. Deeply mineral, dense, slightly bitter-edged apple fruit. Almost overwhelming. But in a good way. Great wine. — 10 months ago

Solid dry Mosel Spatlese Riesling. Balanced citrus, slate, and petrol aromas. Heavy mouth feel. Not as complex as others I've had recently, but I'm biased having sampled many reserve and Alsatian grand crus. — a month ago
My new favorite Austrian wine! Had the Josephine a while back but we did not become great friends. Anatasius, however, is playful, fruitful, and slightly bubbly. Made a new friend. — 5 months ago
Nice complexity of aromas. — 2 years ago

Another Grand Cru from my favorite Alsacian producer.
Poura yellow, I get canary melon, botrytis honey comb, passion fruit, lychee.
Just slightly off dry, the acids have a mustard like quality. (the area is surrounded by mustard fields and I swear that I can smell and/or taste mustard greens/flowers in many wines of Berckem). Follows up with roasted apple flavors, and an incredible clean but long finish.
I wish I could open a bottle of this every night. — 2 years ago

Needs a 45 minute decant. Don’t pop and pour.
Nose: complex. Dense. Yellow fruits. A bit brooding. Almost dark minerals.
Palate: delicious. Such dense yellow fruits. Dense minerals. Dense and insane internal aromatics. So night and juicy but in a serious way. Mohammed Ali (float like a butterfly….)
Long long long long long.
