Holy moly! I think this could be a top 20 of all time for only about $50. I have a few more bottles and I will treasure them. Incredible! This bottle made me sad because I knew while I was drinking it, but the moments would end. Bold mouth feel with soft tannins and yet it’s only five years old. This is a throwback bottle for me. Right after our first kid was born, I cooked a lot of mussels for a quick and affordable (yet luxurious) meal at home. I often used Muscadet or Txakolina, and this was a go-to producer. So this went with red curried mussels and rice.
