#AgedWineTuesday
Light gold in color.
Nice crisp nose with limes and brioche.
Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity and small bubbles.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing citrus, yeast, minerals, bread, green apples, herbs, earth, lemon juice and white pepper.
Long finish, tasty and elegant.
This 16 year old still feels very young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Rich and well balanced.
I love this vintage of Dom Perignon. Complex and interesting. I've had this vintage it a few times before, and it is very consistent.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food. Good stuff.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Turned into a beauty. Fully developed soft and mellowed out. Still nice fruit. Hint band aid, chocolate, bark. Dark ripe cherries. Hint blackberry and lime. Plenty of acidity. Could go 5 more years or so. At some point i have to take a look at the “Wanne” aka Bathtub vineyard. — 4 months ago

Light gold. Very poised with some secondary notes of corn, jasmine, a whiff of honey. Some lime and cool stone with salinity. Very rounded and delicious. Calm and detailed. Excellent — 3 months ago

I wish I’d had some of thatYellow gold with copper hue, quite thin pale rim . Caramelised pineapple, saffron , vanilla , creme brûlée , quite rich and decadent. On the palate again quite rich , barley sugar , creme brûlée and saffron, just enough acidity to balance and a little alcoholic warmth . On the medium length finish , lemon rind and a touch of caramel . This is probably at peak now , just misses a little vibrancy , freshness, however successful for the vintage . Drink now and over the next 10- 15 years — 5 months ago
